MINISTRY VOLUNTEER APPLICATION
Christians in places of responsibility in the church must be examples in faith, conduct, and lifestyle. One of the best ways to present Christ to others is by maintaining a high standard for those who minister in any capacity at the local church. The following guidelines will be required of any person who works in ministry at Destiny Church:
1. Must agree with the beliefs and doctrine of Destiny Church.
2. Must be able to make a minimum 6-month commitment.
3. Must complete this application.
4. Must watch the “Reducing the Risk” training video when offered (for those working with minors).
5. Must be loyal and supportive to the leadership of Destiny.
6. Must live a Christian life distinct from the world.
7. Must be willing to abstain from the use of alcohol, tobacco, intoxicants, and illegal drugs.
8. Must be willing to attend the annual Leadership Summit or any other leadership gatherings deemed necessary by ministry leaders.
9. Must faithfully attend Destiny Church.
10. Must represent Destiny Church in a positive light in the community.
11. Must maintain a cooperative team attitude.
12. Be willing to have a background check.
AGREEMENT:
I have read the above requirements, and I agree with them. I commit to keep them to the very best of my ability. I fully understand that failure to keep any of the above requirements may result in losing my privilege to serve in my area of ministry.
